Because the commercials are flighted on monitors at the various dispensary queues in the 500+ pharmacies, we want to maximise the chance of a consumer seeing a number of commercials in as short a time possible.

 

Our optimum 10-second commercial provides the maximum message time and impact, without losing the customer's attention.

 

Through our highly sophisticated biometric technology, we are able to determine dwell and viewing time through accurate data feedback in real time. This means that MPM is able to determine those actual eyes on screen, the duration, as well as determining the sex and age of the customer looking at the screen.

 

Our biometric technology comprises face recognition software that captures the details (not the identity) of the customer that is actually looking at the screen at any one time. The system feeds this information back in real time and MPM can record the demographic data as it occurs in each of the more than 500 stores - nationally.

 

Unlike some consumer research or data service that determines the footfall in the pharmacy but cannot determine any other details, we can determine the precise moment a certain demographic group viewed the advertisement on screen. Through the online facilities at Metriplex, we can ascertain in correlation with the time your advertisement was on screen, we can determine what the consumer profile was that took the time to watch the advertisement.

 

No other media service can offer this. Plus, because this is a captive audience and they cannot switch channels, pause or fast-forward through the advertisements, their attention time viewing advertising and promotional material is voluntary and therefore has a positive impact on your brand.
