Founder & director of Metriplex Holdings, Eugene has been involved in advertising and digital media for almost 3 decades.
As with all industries, adapting to new technologies and seeing the strategic future of retail and consumer marketing is a rare ability. One that Eugene possesses in bucket loads.
Spending time abroad in the digital technology environments has equipped him not only with a sound understanding of capacity, infrastructure and service, but this experience has distilled into what he has created in Metriplex today.
His focus was to build reliable, robust digital platforms that would deliver the desired impact and service, irrespective of the demanding environments, extent of installation or technology required to achieve the desired solution.
Eugene is a customer centric individual recognising that it is with the client's vision that he can be most creative, building a vast array of diverse digital media networks that function and operate reliably.
Having built Metriplex from scratch, Eugene can proudly accept that even with the national installation of all of the media screens in the national airports, providing functionality to the dynamic, fluid function of the local and international airlines, his single greatest achievement is creating the Metriplex Pharmacy Media infrastructure. With an installation of more than 560 flat screens and biometric technology into as many nationally spread pharmacies, this division on Metriplex is about to establish itself as a serious player in media delivery to the healthcare market. Probably the single biggest national in-pharmacy media operation in the country.
"The Metriplex strategic objective now is to build more networks in numerous commercial and consumer environments, expanding the digital media footprint of the Metriplex group. Shane has spent most of his career in the I.T. industry with significant roles abroad as a programmer and developer.
His technological know-how equips him well as a senior partner in a company, where many companies looking to expand into the digital media realm know what they want, but don't necessarily know what is required to make it work.
Both Shane and Eugene possess the ability to understand and interpret the customer's expectation into a functional and feasible system.
Operating out of their offices at Techno Park in Stellenbosch, Shane runs a tight and efficient operation.
The balance of 2014 and development into 2015 is to see a transitional expansion from creating robust networks into also providing content and creative execution that will maximise the benefit to our many clients.
Shane is a detail-orientated individual who can cut through the clutter of seemingly complex problems, breaking the challenge down to simple, manageable, executable roles that his people can deliver reliably.
Shane stated. "We are at that point where we can accept that Metriplex is more than capable of building vast digital media networks. Our focus now is to lead the way in providing services like content, ensuring that our client offering transcends just the latest technology, hardware and software.

With almost 40 years in advertising and marketing, 30 of which have been focused in healthcare, Greg brings his vast experience in marketing and advertising ethical, OTC and natural medicines to Metriplex Pharmacy Media (MPM).
His role will be to build the content, advertising and promotional material that will be broadcast on the network.
Having worked in some of the largest advertising companies in the world and having served most of the largest global pharmaceutical companies, Greg's understanding of the market is significant.
When Greg was first introduced to the concept of a nationally focused pharmacy-advertising network, his enthusiasm was overwhelming.
